Shane Valentino collaborated with Anna Wintour and Vogue Magazine to design three Met Gala entry installations in support of the Costume Institutes exhibitions: Superheroes: Fashion and Fantasy, American Woman: Fashioning a National Identity, and In America: An Anthology of Fashion. Each acted as a threshold between the outside world and conceptual universe of the exhibitions.
